I decided to re-release my tools on my Gumroad. And very first one is Rolling Rig script for After Effects. It’s a super simple tool to create shapes like square, polygon, circle, and half-circle with rotation rig feature.
Here’s short promo animation for Roling Rig. As you can see, it’s easy to use. Just one click to create rolling rig shapes, and that’s it!
[Quick Installation]
Copy “rollingRig.jsxbin” file you downloaded and paste it to the “ScriptUI Panels” folder located in the “Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects \Support Files\Scripts (Windows)” or “Applications/Adobe After Effects /Scripts (Mac OS)” folder. If you want to know more about installation, check After Effects Help.
[Quick Explanation]
It’s pretty easy to use. All you need to do is to select the composition you want to add the isometric cube, and then click “Add” button. So the script applies a shape layer with isometric cube to the composition. It has a pseudo effect called “IsoMeTrick”.
Anyway, I hope some guys think it’s handy for their animation work in some situation.
Grab Rolling Rig script for AE right now!
